Diwali is also know as light of festival. 

Diwali is the season to celebrate with joy and cheer. It was the day when king Rama destroyed the evil forces and reached home to a rousing welcome by his subjects. Diwali has long been associated with bursting crackers, which is not in the true spirits of the festival. The main motive of the festival is to spread happiness with your loved ones.Festivals have been made to reinforce strong bonds between families and friends, and Diwali is the best example. Everyone goes home for Diwali and celebrates it with their families. It is a national holiday, so everyone enjoys the festival without worrying about work. It gets more exciting at night because lots of sky-lanterns are released into the air that flies high and lights up the night sky. Diwali teaches us to be patient for good things in life.Diwali is the main festival of India.diwali celebrated two days.India is a land of festivals. Many festivals are celebrated in our country with great pleasure and joy. Diwali is one of the biggest festival celebrated in our country. It is also called Deepawali. Diwali brings happiness, joy, peace, health, wealth, success and prosperity in one’s life.Diwali is a festival of lights and on this day almost every house and street is decorated with lamps, and lights. People clean their houses, decorated them with diyas, lamps, rangoli and children burst fire crackers on this day.We celebrate Diwali as on this day Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. People of Ayodhya welcomed them with lighted oil lamps. On Diwali we pray to Maa Laxmi for betterment of our future. Sweets and snacks are made in every home. People wear new clothes, exchange sweets and greet their friends and relatives.Diwali festival gives us a message of love, friendship and brotherhood. So on Diwali we should give new clothes, sweets and money to the needy persons, so that they can also enjoy this festival.
