India was slave country. The Britisher were ruling over it.But after a long struggle it became free. so we observe Independence day on 15th August every year.It is celebrated in the whole country. On this day people gather at a place. National Anthem is sang.Military and N.C.C. parades are organised. procession are taken. Meeting are hold at different places.The leaders deliver their lectures, sweets are distributed. Cultural programmes are organised.Thus we are joyful on this day.
