The Ramayana and the Mahabharata are two great epics which are a part of sanskrit literature. Sanskrit literature is rich and varied.There were different types of books written in sanskrit in the ancient period. The Ramayana was written by maharishi valmiki. It is the story of prince Rama of Ayodhya. The Ramayana was written by maharishi tulsi das in hindi language. The Mahabharata was written by maharishi veda vyasa.It describes the struggle between two royal families, the kauravas and the pandavas."The bhagavad gita is also a part of the mahabharata". It contains the essence of hindu religious philosophy. It is Hinduism religions. The Ramayana provide good culture and best sanskriti. Ramayana teaches us how we should live life.Ramayana tells how to bring happiness in family, how to run family. Mahabharata teaches us that there should not be a ruckus over a small matter,there should not be a big ruckus in the small relationships in the family. That's why we should read Ramayana and Mahabharata.
