  INDEPENDENCE DAY There are some important dates in the year.15th of August is such important date. It is a red letter day in the history of India. On this very date in1947 India became independent.  India was slave country. The Britisher were ruling over it.But after a long struggle it became free. So we observe independence day on 15th August every year. It is celebrated in the whole country. On this day peoples gather at a place. National Anthem is sang.Military and N.C.C. parades are organised. procession are taken. meetings are hold at different places. The leaders deliver their lecture, sweets are distributed.
